I would really like a way to bookmark or favorite individual assistant responses inside a conversation.
Some of my ChatGPT conversations become very long, and occasionally there are specific answers that I want to keep for future reference — for example, a particularly useful technical explanation, a piece of writing I like, or a response that is personally meaningful to me.
Right now, finding one specific response again inside a long conversation can be difficult. Conversation search helps at the chat level, but it does not replace being able to save a particular response.
Ideally, each response could have a Bookmark / Favorite action next to the existing copy, thumbs-up, share, etc. controls. Saved responses could then appear in a dedicated Favorites section, with:
- the original response
- a link back to its conversation and surrounding context
- optional folders, tags, or notes
- search across saved responses
ChatGPT already contains many responses that users may want to preserve as personal reference material. Being able to save individual responses would make long-term use much more convenient.
