Lately I have noticed that Chat GPT is ignoring clear instructions. I upload all my notes on a subject, request that it puts them into a coherent format for me to them go through and edit into the final document, which I then get it to proof read and add any Citations I may have missed when they are needed.
I tell it to write in British English and grammar, do not use bold type in sentences and to keep all headings and sub-headings in a different line and in bold.
So why the hell does it keep producing final responses in US English and grammar, puts bold in almost every bloody sentence and some of the Titles I could use as foundations for buildings?
I have given my instructions, I repeat them in almost every prompt - but it has been ignoring me for weeks. As I have to edit the documents anyway, its not the end of the world, but it adds seriously to my workload as I have to then look at all the grammer and spelling erros, remove the bold, correct headings…Tiresome when you pay for it!
