I am trying to use an existing PowerPoint template to have GPT 4.0 turbo create new documents based on the a few pieces of information I feed it. However, the best I can come up with is a VB script. Does anyone know of an API that does this automatically? Takes content and an existing PowerPoint template and create a new document that is fully formatted in PowerPoint?
I found a solution with using an intermediary - Google Slides. I basically made my template in Google Slides, than fill it in automatically with some information, convert to power point and upload to my sharepoint.
If anyone finds a better solution, would be grateful

I’ve also been experimenting with something similar but adding AI to the mix. I use an extension for AI-generated Google Slides to quickly populate the template with content based on prompts or data, which saves me a ton of time (so far). Once the slides are ready, I export them and upload them to where they’re needed.
It’s been working well so far, though I’m still tweaking it to perfect the formatting post-export.
