Anyone getting underbilled for 3.6 terra?

using the api directly
I track tokens independently in my code that uses the api endpoints

my estimate should be around
990k uncached input
277k cached input
928k output (mostly reasoning)
so their tracking of about 2.19M tokens seems about right
(and 237 total requests)

but they say the total spend is only $0.09 ??

this was all mostly terra.. a little sol and luna
I estimate from current pricing, it should be $13 to $14
seems like enough days have gone by that there should be no billing lag?

wondering

If your API organization is offered and opted into data sharing with complementary daily tokens, then both gpt-5.6-luna and gpt-5.6-terra are included in the larger pool of free tokens for “mini” - 2.5M or 10M daily tokens depending on your organization tier.

Additionally, there was just a price reduction by 20%.

Note that your screenshot of “usage” shows that you have selected “Default project” and not the entire org if you have more projects making API calls.

Ah excellent! thank you.
Yes I only have one project right now. individual so org is just me

I whipped off a python to hit the usage api endpoints and see what it reports directly
it’s a bit higher than the local tracking I was doing when I used the api, I probably missing some counting there, but this lines up with what the usage page was saying
With my calculator python, the bill should closer to $20 I think

So if I got $20 worth of tokens almost free, like you say, that’s pretty amazing.
I went to the Data controls page https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/data-controls/sharing

and now I see the complimentary daily tokens like you say. Nice

I did opt in to data sharing.
