An Interactive Learning System for ChatGPT: Helping Users Learn and AI Improve

Idea: Teach People to Use AI While Helping AI Improve

I have an idea that I believe could help both ChatGPT users and AI development.

When people start using ChatGPT, many may not know how to ask effective questions, verify answers, or get the best results. Most people don’t read lengthy user manuals or terms and conditions, so I think there could be a better approach.

My suggestion is to introduce an interactive learning system when someone opens a ChatGPT account for the first time.

ChatGPT could ask users what they want to use AI for, such as education, professional work, business, or general knowledge. Based on their choices, it could give them small, interesting tasks that teach them how to ask better questions and use AI effectively.

The system should also teach users an important lesson: AI can make mistakes, so its answers should be verified when necessary.

If users don’t understand an answer, they should learn to ask follow-up questions, request simpler explanations, and challenge answers that appear incorrect. Once they have checked an answer, they could optionally provide feedback about whether it was correct or what needed improvement.

The system could also assess users’ learning progress and gradually introduce more advanced tasks.

I believe this could create a two-way learning cycle:

AI helps people learn → People become better AI users → People provide useful feedback and real-life knowledge → Developers use suitable feedback to improve future AI systems → Everyone benefits.

My idea is not simply to teach people how to operate ChatGPT. It is to help them develop critical thinking, ask better questions, understand AI’s limitations, and become more capable of using technology in their daily lives.

I am sharing this idea as an ordinary AI user, not as an AI expert. I believe that listening to users’ everyday experiences and helping them use AI responsibly could be valuable for the future of artificial intelligence.
