AI Talent Discovery Through Human–AI Collaboration

Dear OpenAI Team,

I would like to propose an idea that could help OpenAI identify valuable human contributions to AI development.

My observation is that ChatGPT could play a broader role than answering questions. During conversations, users sometimes identify weaknesses in AI-generated ideas, challenge assumptions, suggest better approaches, and help develop more effective solutions. These contributions may reveal useful problem-solving abilities that traditional CVs or interviews do not always capture.

My proposal is to explore a voluntary system that identifies meaningful contributions during conversations, offers practical challenges, evaluates specific ideas, creates structured summaries, and lets users approve submissions to the appropriate OpenAI team.

The objective is not to rank people by intelligence, but to recognize useful contributions and create a pathway for people with promising ideas to participate in AI development.

I suggest testing this concept through a small pilot, with transparent evaluation criteria, human review, and strong privacy safeguards. Its value should be measured against existing feedback methods before wider implementation.

I would welcome the opportunity to help develop and evaluate this concept, particularly by contributing business-oriented analysis, identifying practical product gaps, and proposing solutions.

I am not a software engineer; my intended contribution is in problem identification, idea development, critical analysis, and practical strategy. I believe these perspectives can complement technical expertise.

Thank you for considering this proposal. I would appreciate guidance on whether there is an appropriate team or channel to review it further.

Kind regards,

A prospective contributor from Azerbaijan
