I’d like to suggest that OpenAI consider creating a program to recognize users who make meaningful contributions to improving ChatGPT.
Many users invest time in testing answers, identifying errors, providing constructive feedback, suggesting improvements, and sharing their experiences with others.
I believe those contributions could be recognized through a transparent user appreciation program.
My suggested program would include:
- Contribution recognition: Reward users who consistently provide useful, constructive feedback that helps improve the product.
- A fair evaluation system: Base rewards on the usefulness and quality of contributions rather than simply the number of messages a person sends.
- Meaningful benefits: Consider complimentary subscription time, temporary access to premium features, or other appropriate rewards.
- Clear eligibility rules: Explain how users can participate and how contributions are evaluated.
- Equal opportunity: Give ordinary users a way to participate without requiring a large social media following or a business partnership.
As a ChatGPT user, I use the service for practical research, troubleshooting, evaluating products, and comparing solutions. I believe users who take the time to provide thoughtful feedback can contribute valuable real-world perspectives.
I’d welcome the opportunity to see OpenAI consider a program like this.
Would other community members support this idea, and what would make such a program fair and useful?
