Advanced voice mode is not yet supported for conversations with GPT

I created my own GPT model named ‘Teaching English’. If I click on ‘Use voice mode’ and select ‘Advanced voice mode’, it gives me a message: ‘Advanced voice mode is not yet supported for conversations with GPT.’ Where could the problem be? (Of course I have a monthly subscription)

It’s not any specific GPT, it seems to affect all GPTs for most users.

OpenAI doesn’t always release fully fleshed out concepts, and this is just one manifestation of that.

It’s possible that this feature might be coming in the (near or far) future, but it’s also possible that they might phase out custom gpts before that happens. It’s unfortunately hard to tell.

The only thing I can tell you is that you’re not doing anything wrong. It’s just not enabled at this time :confused:

What you might be able to do is to take your custom GPT instructions and simply toss them into a normal prompt. There’s often no specific need to create a custom GPT, apart from the prompt-reuse utility (unless you have files, ofc)
