Users simply desire a more intelligent model; they are not interested in the additional features reminiscent of Microsoft’s approach. Anthropic has essentially made GPT-4 seem like GPT-3.5; that’s the level of difference. When switching from Anthropic to GPT-4, I feel like I’ve switched from GPT-4 to 3.5. People only want a smarter model.
