I ran against the limit for the third time today. This has happened to me several times in the last few days. It is a complete blocker.
1/2 of my inputs consist of explaining to the GPT what it has just forgotten again. Productivity decreases because GPT remembers too little and so I need more input.
Would be more than nice if the limit was adjusted.
Same, the previous limit was 50, not “I don’t know what it is”. I was asking GPT-4 a couple of questions, then went to GPTs to create a bot, and a few queries later I got this message. I believe this is some kind of bug, or maybe it is intentional so people don’t use GPTs too much. I can’t even use GPT-4 now because of this bug.
Yeah, the same story. I tried GPTs this morning. This night I started to work with a standard GPT-4 chat and got cut off after ~30 messages. Maybe it’s a GPTs problem? And better to remove them?

same here, also the data analysis capabilities are not worth the 20 bucks imo, been trying to extract some numbers associated to world countries without success. tried feeding it with both pdf and screenshots. it keeps being unreliable with results.
I really think imma stop the subscription til there are better improvements.
Just got this message for the first time since being a subscriber. Trying to make a GPT and halfway through the process I get this message. Looking at my usage doesn’t show any activity on my end. I have to wait over an hour to finish what I started. Very frustrating
since it’s release GPT-4 had a limit : 100 messages per 3hours then 50 messages then 25 messages then again 50messages.
after the new release on November they removed the limit for a brief moment and the service crashed
It seems like right now the limit is not predictable and it keeps on changing depending on the load
I agree that at least we should get an indicator for how long we can use it
The AI runs every time you do something with GPTs, which seems to increase the overall load tremendously. I just rewrote the instructions a little bit and posted one exam post, and these things are stacking up. As a result, it has become difficult for all users to properly use ChatGPT PLUS.
It’s a very interesting feature, but the result is that no one can use it (correctly, they have to wait several hours after touching it).
Just happened to me as well. Didn’t recall they inform me when I made the payment. And how should I check my usage cap?
I woke up this early morning and I i re edited my gtps tried about 10 times and got capped off. Most of the times when I’m editing something it’s usually editing the error that chat-4 did wrong. And when I pay for the service I didn’t see anything about a limitation. And I’m not sure but they released a video and I think they were trying to call this chat gtp 4 the turbo version And the 3.5 is a lot quicker which I don’t use
I read about a chat-widget that lets you integrate your custom GPT into your website with just a html/javascript snippet…but I did not find details - would also be very interested 
You can build a custom “My GPT” and make it available, publically, as a chat bubble on a website and people can use it without needing a ChatGPT or ChatGPT Plus account?
yes but you need a backend-server and a frontend script on your website. I found tutorials on this without coding on YT but this needs third party platforms like replit and voiceflow. you can do it without but you need to run a http-server for the backend. I am still looking for the chat-widget…

Just got this same message “You’ve reached the current usage cap for GPT-4. You can continue with the default model now, or try again after…” I’ve to wait an hour.
Have been using it now for a few weeks without ever seeing this. I only needed to use the standard Chat GPT-4 for text and images. Tonight I decided to use the “Create a GPT beta” and not long into it, I get bumped off. Said I’d used my quota… what quota? First I heard about a quota!!
I’m wondering if the “Create a GPT beta” version cause this? And, I saw only after this issue happened, that I had a limit of 40 messages and or 3 hours. This is useless, I may as well subscribe to Netflix or such - cheaper too.
Wouldn’t mind, but most of the messages was trying to model the GPT beta to little success!
Yes totally doable but some coding knowledge is necessary,
I looked online but couldn’t find an up to date tutorial.
Probably I will make a youtube video over the weekend explaining how to do that.
look for the two latest yt videos by liam ottley. But I am not a fan of the idea to depend upon third party platforms so I am currently checking how to do it without that. A Udemy course helps me with that and it works at least in a testing environment. For production use you need a public webserver as mentioned already.
