I’ve been noticing an issue where the chat doesn’t update properly to reflect the current day. For example, if I go back to a previous chat to contribute to a story, the chat doesn’t sync to today’s date, and the messages from the last conversation get deleted. It only keeps my original request but erases the rest of the conversation. Even though I know I’m using an older model due to my phone being outdated, this issue didn’t occur until recently. Even if the chat doesn’t update, the conversation should still continue seamlessly without deleting the content. I assumed when it says this version of ChatGPT wouldn’t receive updates, it only refers to bigger updates, but shouldn’t it at least allow for smaller fixes like this? Not everyone can just buy a new phone to update an app or chat.
