Why desktop ChatGPT needs real time screen sharing

Introducing Live Camera and Screen Sharing to the desktop version of ChatGPT could be a real game-changer. Many desktop users—myself included—work with code, workflows, and technical setups that often demand troubleshooting. At present, the only option is to capture multiple screenshots and upload them one by one.

With real-time screen sharing, ChatGPT would immediately grasp the context and deliver direct, actionable guidance. This would greatly boost efficiency, remove unnecessary friction, and open the door to entirely new applications for technical professionals, educators, and businesses.

Enabling this feature on desktop would not only enhance ChatGPT’s capabilities but also make it far more practical for real-world workflows.

I can’t believe we still don’ t have this. What is going on?
