The complete list of deprecations can be found here.
There are currently no announced deprecations for gpt-4o-mini, what you are referring is probably related to a recent announcement of deprecation for chatgpt-4o-latest.
On November 18th, 2025, we notified developers using

Notice that versions related to ChatGPT don’t have a dated snapshot, and are known for being bad at consistent reproducible behavior, having very specific use cases.
I have the same query as the OP.
We are using specific, dated models. One of these is same as OP mentioned, gpt-4o-mini-2024-07-18. The other is gpt-4o-2024-05-13.
I had looked at the deprecations page but it doesn’t list specific dated model. Is this information available anywhere else?
We could use the general model name (instead of specific dated versions). However, we’d prefer to have a more repeatable system with specific dated models.
The moment that a model (or software feature) is given a lifespan, it would be deprecated.
Not appearing there means no immediate shutoff plans.
Although there is no formal pattern to guide your planning and maximum lifecycle, what can be observed is six months notice if there is a direct replacement, a year if there is no equivalent. Or as little as three months if it is a preview model or merely a test surface (like gpt-chat).
Thanks for that info. Very useful.
