What does it mean when every human can "write code"?

I have to admit that this last part of the conversation has opened my eyes a bit about the world that is very likely approaching, and it’s a strange feeling, to be honest, because it’s somewhat unsettling.

I get the impression that this technology is truly and exponentially advancing, and I don’t know how well society will be able to adapt to it.

I’ll put it bluntly: this is like taking a modern smartphone, with all its versatility, and showing it to someone from the 18th century.

I’m really impressed with what’s coming. The majority of the population doesn’t even know what’s ahead or how they’re going to integrate it into their daily lives. Today, we see everyone walking around with their phones in hand like zombies, and we’ve already accepted it as part of a transition period. But all this new technology that’s on the horizon is too extravagant for society to absorb without some negative consequences.

It’s the same as what we talked about regarding coding, whether in the hands of experts or non-experts, with good intentions or harmful purposes.

Honestly, I don’t know how things will turn out.
