Hi team,
I’m encountering a bug where the “Web Search” button does not appear when using Projects in ChatGPT. I have confirmed that the feature is enabled in my settings, and I’m using the correct model (GPT-4 with tools). However, the option simply doesn’t show up in the interface when working inside a Project.
I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Please let me know if this is a known issue or if there’s a workaround.

Have noticed this as well for the past few days. Any model with search capabilities will only give me the option to enable search if I am in a standalone conversation (a conversation not under a project). If I move this conversation into a project, I lose the ability to enable search. If I start a conversation under a project, search is missing. If I move a conversation out of a project (i.e., make it standalone), search becomes available again. This is not the expected or usual behavior.
Yeah, this is so frustrating because sometimes we need to enable search inside the project.
