Voice Mode loses active conversation context
I can have a long, detailed text conversation with ChatGPT and then immediately start Voice Mode, but Voice behaves as if it has little or none of the context from that conversation. This isn’t about long-term memory or expecting ChatGPT to remember everything I’ve ever said. I’m expecting continuity from the conversation I was just having.
The text experience understands established people, events, preferences and the conversation we’re actively having. When I switch to Voice, that continuity disappears and it behaves like a new assistant.
For a paid ChatGPT user, switching input modes should not require me to re-explain the conversation. Text and Voice should feel like two interfaces to the same ongoing ChatGPT experience, not two assistants with different context.
Please treat this as a conversation-continuity issue between text and Voice Mode.
