I saw a video about GPT-4.0 demonstrating smooth and quick conversational capabilities with AI. I’m interested in creating a similar app for my purposes. Currently, the GPT-4 API only supports text-based chat, right? Is OpenAI planning to release a conversational API that supports more interactive features? If so, is there an estimated release date? I’ve tried searching for this information but haven’t found anything yet.
At the moment, GPT-4o’s voice capabilities aren’t available through the API. OpenAI is slowly rolling this features to ChatGPT Plus users. We might expect it to be announced at the next developer day.
