If you’re using ChatGPT in a web browser or desktop app, zoom behavior can be different from other applications for a few reasons:

  1. Browser zoom vs. Chat zoom

    • ChatGPT doesn’t currently have its own dedicated “zoom in/out chat text” control.

    • You need to use the browser or app zoom:

      • Windows: Ctrl + + (zoom in), Ctrl + - (zoom out), Ctrl + 0 (reset)

      • Mac: Cmd + +, Cmd + -, Cmd + 0

  2. Desktop app limitations

    • Some versions of the ChatGPT desktop app may not respond to pinch-to-zoom gestures the same way browsers do.

    • Keyboard shortcuts usually work even when touchpad gestures don’t.

  3. Mobile app

    • The ChatGPT mobile app generally does not support pinch-to-zoom on chat text.

    • Text size follows your device’s accessibility/display settings instead.

  4. Accessibility settings

    • If browser zoom isn’t affecting the chat, check:

      • Browser accessibility settings

      • Windows Display Scale (Settings → Display → Scale)

      • ChatGPT app updates

well guys i just came to know that text zoom in not available which is struggle for students and specs users ,so please fix this for a better experience
