but my understanding is that they all (most, at least the LLM ones) concern themselves with bounded ranges in N, this is more about unbounded ranges in R.

I will also have to admit that I don’t know if it makes a difference, in this case, I would create prototypes using different methods, one for N and one for R, and measure nearest neighbor accuracy to figure out if there’s any difference between them
