Suggestions to Improve ChatGPT – Memory, Filtering, and Free Features

I’ve been using ChatGPT for a while now, and while it’s great, I think a few improvements could make it even better—possibly surpassing competitors like DeepSeek. Here are my main suggestions:

1. Message Filtering System

It would be helpful if ChatGPT had a built-in message filter that processes long inputs, removes unnecessary details, and then responds based on the key points. This would make it more efficient and reduce the chance of missing important details.

2. Improved Memory Handling

One of the biggest issues I’ve noticed is that ChatGPT sometimes forgets previous messages too quickly. When working on connected tasks—like coding—it doesn’t always link new questions to previous ones, leading to incorrect responses. A better memory system would ensure follow-ups remain relevant and consistent with the full conversation.

3. More Free Features (Like DeepSeek)

DeepSeek offers some Pro-level features for free, such as longer responses and better accuracy. If ChatGPT provided similar benefits in its free tier, it would be a huge advantage for users.

4. Allow File Uploads for Free Users

Currently, only Pro users can upload files. Adding file uploads for free users would make ChatGPT more accessible for analyzing documents, code, and other important content.

I believe these improvements would make ChatGPT more powerful and user-friendly. Looking forward to seeing future updates!
