Dear OpenAI Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to suggest a feature that could greatly enhance the user experience within the ChatGPT interface—adding a search functionality that allows users to search for specific chat titles.
Currently, when trying to locate a previous conversation, users must scroll through the entire history, which can be time-consuming and cumbersome, especially for those who have a large number of saved chats. As shown in the attached image, it can be challenging to quickly find a specific chat when there are many entries listed.
Adding a search bar where users can input keywords from the chat titles would allow us to instantly filter and locate the exact conversation we’re looking for. This would streamline the process of revisiting previous topics, retrieving information, or continuing a conversation, making the overall experience more efficient and user-friendly.
This small but impactful enhancement could significantly improve navigation within the interface, especially for those who rely on the platform for ongoing projects, research, or any form of extended interaction that involves multiple conversations over time.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe it could bring substantial value to the user experience, and I look forward to any updates on this feature.
Kind Regards,
Syed Toukir Ahmed Noor
