I am completely new to AI and have no background in coding or app development.
In fact, my background is in Civil Architecture.
I actually work a Project Estimator and have to quantify items present on Architectural Plans.
I am trying to understand AI and eventually use it to create a tool to search specific snapshots of drawings (ex. a specific kitchen layout present randomly on condominium building plans).
So basically I want to catalogue a selection of snap shots of different items and use AI to look for them on a set of drawings.
I have used similar tools in the market but they don’t work properly, and this is why I believe AI will do a better job.
So basically what I am looking for is the how to get started. What version of OpenAI should I pay for, what is the easiest way to build the tool, etc…
I am mainly looking to create a tool for my personal use but I see a huge commercial potential if the tool becomes easy to operate and precise.
Any help will be appreciated and I am open to partnerships if you know how to build it in a professional way.
