Hi OpenAI Support Team,

I’m experiencing a frustrating scrolling issue on the ChatGPT Android app. Whenever I scroll down for the first time in a new conversation, the view snaps back to the top, disrupting the reading flow. This behavior is consistent and makes it difficult to read longer responses without constant repositioning.

Device Details:

Device: Pixel 9 Pro Fold

OS: Android 15

App Version: Latest from Google Play Store

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a new conversation.

  2. Scroll down.

  3. Observe that the view snaps back to the top.

I’ve tried restarting the app, clearing the cache, and reinstalling, but the problem persists.

Is there a known fix for this, or is it a recognized bug? Any guidance or update on when this might be resolved would be appreciated.

It’s so awful and triggers motion sickness and now I’m almost afraid to use it anymore.
