We all know how irritating it is to have to scroll back and forth between previous responses and inquiries when asking ChatGPT new questions. So I propose the addition of a small floating window that shows the current response being generated.
WHY?
Say you’re reading through a long answer to a question. A phrase or sentence is confusing to you and you want to ask GPT to clarify, but that would mean having to scroll down, read the answer, and then scroll back up to finish reading the text you were initially reading.
With this small window, hopefully, you could just ask GPT another question, and if you’re not scrolled all the way to the bottom, it will display it in a small floating window in the chat.
Features:
- It can be dragged around and repositioned.
- It can be collapsed into a small, floating on-screen icon.
Someone has also brought up something similar in a another post, a collapsible on-screen list that allows you to jump to specific questions instead of scrolling.
Search “response without having to scroll” and the post is at the the top of the list.
