Is there some way to retrieve the current pricing of models via an API?
If not, can it please be added?

This is a big issue for all the LLM Cloud Providers. They all update their prices randomly and it invalidates everyone’s price calculations. It would be cool if there were some standard way to publish the pricing on any given model, similar to how the LLM API (for Chat at least) has sort of become a de-facto standard. The problem is there’s no business incentive for them to do this.
