Responses Api does not support Code interpreter tool if Zero Data Retention enabled

I have zero data retention policy enabled for my organization, when using assistants api I was able to use code interpreter tool with Zero data retention but in responses api I cannot use code interpreter tool with zero data retention enabled.

Since assistants api is being deprecated, we are moving towards responses api but if code interpreter does not work with zero data retention then it is a blocker for us.

is there a way to get around this? or is OpenAI planning to make code interpreter available for zero data retention in responses api?

I think the current problem is that the interpreter instances have a 20 minute minimum life time. So in that respect they are not zero retention by default.
