I’m reaching out to inquire about the file upload limit for the AI Assistant. Is there any information about openai planning to increase the file upload limit from 20 in ai assistant to more than 100 or even 1000?
Any information and comment is greatly appreciated.
The limitations are just stated plainly in the documentation as you read them. There’s no hint there that specification are currently up for reconsideration, or that you could plan for anything different.
Even things in assistants that should have been changed have seen no alteration since release.

One of the few things offered by OpenAI that have remained extremely consistent (can’t say the same for response quality, or the API usage dashboard!)
