Request for Folder-Specific Password Protection and Custom Password for "Delete All Chat" Option

I would like to propose a couple of features that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience and security of OpenAI’s ChatGPT platform:

  1. Password-Protected Project Folders:
    Enable users to assign unique passwords to individual project folders.
    Ensure that folders require the correct password to be accessed, allowing for more secure management of sensitive projects.
  2. Custom Password for “Delete All Chat” Option:
    Introduce a feature where users must enter a customizable password before using the “Delete All Chat” function.
    This will provide an additional layer of security and prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion of valuable chat data.

I strongly believe that implementing these features will provide users with better control over their data and boost confidence in the platform’s privacy safeguards.

I sum up to your proposal and I’d also add another one, in order to not open a new feature request thread: Password protect chats. Certain shared environments can have multiple user access and it can be convenient.
