I’d love to see ChatGPT’s Google Calendar integration expanded beyond its current read-only capabilities.
Right now, the integration works great for reading and summarising my schedule, but it would be a real game-changer if ChatGPT could also:

Create new events (e.g., “Schedule a meeting with Bob for Monday at 3 PM”)

Edit or update existing events (change time, add participants, update descriptions)

Delete or cancel events when needed

Accept or decline meeting invitations

Add notes or reminders directly into events
This would make ChatGPT a genuinely useful personal assistant, capable of handling real scheduling workflows end-to-end instead of just looking up calendar info.
Of course, security and consent are crucial, so maybe these actions could require explicit confirmation prompts or scoped permissions, similar to how third-party calendar apps request OAuth access.
Overall, adding full event management support would turn the Google Calendar integration from a passive reader into an active productivity tool. I built a similar tool using n8n, but I would much prefer to use ChatGPT.
