I am wondering if deep research is able to process\reproduce a graph in any scientific paper (prompt example, can you reproduce the blue line on figure 3 in this paper?) . This would require consolidating the math description from the result/experiment, the plot behaviour on the graph, and possibly retrieving the data used from cited reference/online source. After some experimentations , o1 is still not able to process PDF files (uploaded by the user) and o4 is able to do so but produces nonsensical plots (due to lack of reasoning capabilities).
