I hate how the bots change every second. It’s so annoying. I use ChatGPT to help me with my OCs and to explain things to me in a chronically online way. But the GPT-4o mini isn’t the same… it knows less stuff about fandoms and stuff, and feels like a millennial. Please fix this problem!

However, I agree, the lack of stability on the models can disturb your workflow.
I think this is a growing pain and things will settle down. The market is incredibly competitive and there is huge amounts of pressure for OpenAI to evolve their models.
On the API you can usually pick a dated model that might be available for longer.
Consider transitioning your work to the API, but ultimately expect some evolution and deprecations of some models
