Removing on specific messages or parts of a conversations

I would like to suggest a feature improvement for the chat interface

Currently, deleting a conversation removes the entire chat history. However, there are situations where users may want to remove on specific messages or parts of a conversations, while keeping the rest of the discussion intact.

It would be very helpful if user could delete individual message bubbles within a chat. This would allow for better control over personal data, help keep conversations organized and make it easier to manage sensitive or unnecessary information without losing valuable context from the rest of the conversation.

Hey @depmip! This is a useful suggestion, and I can see why it would be helpful.

Being able to delete individual message bubbles, rather than removing the entire conversation, would give users more control over what stays in a chat and what gets removed. That could be especially useful for cleaning up long conversations, removing sensitive or unnecessary details, or keeping only the parts that are still helpful.

Right now, deleting a conversation removes the full chat, so I understand why more granular message-level deletion would feel cleaner and more flexible.

I can’t share a timeline right now, but I’ll pass this feedback along internally.
