I’m writing to request that the reply with quote feature (available in the ChatGPT web app) be implemented in the MacOS app. I am a big fan of this feature and use it quite a bit.
Furthermore, when selecting portions of text from ChatGPT’s response, selection is bounded by fenced code blocks (and perhaps other special display formats), so it is not possible to select over both “regular” text and fenced code blocks. The web app allows for this, and is another feature I find very useful.
I would like the quote feature implemented in the macOS app as well! Very useful on the web.

STILL haven’t implemented this? honestly I don’t get ChatGPT or the people who supposedly work on it. No quoting feature on the Mac app? so I can use the web app, which goes incredibly slow and have the quoting feature, or I can use the Mac app which doesn’t slow down after a few days of inquiries, but there’s no quoting feature. Like, maybe they could ask ChatGPT to code the incredibly hard work it must take to integrate this feature? It’s just baloney. So frustrated with this whole system that I’m paying into. PLEASE FIGURE THIS OUT!
