Has anyone synced up their QuickBooks online to an OpenAI model? Would love to know your experience. Did you go the serverless route or feed the QuickBooks Online data into a cloud database such as Azure or AWS and then connect that database to an OpenAI model? Wanting to train and fine-tune the model for this use case. Thanks…
Quickbooks has a lot of different report options, and on top of that a Query interface. Not sure what you are thinking of having the AI do, but there are a lot off differences in the way that QB administrations are setup so personally I would not recommend going ‘direct’. For almost all of these type of integrations creating an in between space will help the process a lot.
I use the QB API for our portfolio companies to get standard reports out of it (P&L/Balance sheet/Cash flow / AR / AP) and then put that in Google Sheets. From I have other routines that will work with those data including AI.
Very helpful, thank you . I’m creating a chat interface for a client that essentially acts as their financial analyst. They can pull data and ask questions about their data via chat interface, automate reports and use the AI to help with forecasting. QB will be one of the data sources that would feed into the cloud database. Eventually their WMS warehouse management system will feed into this database as well.
Good luck - this is (still) a surprisingly hard problem (in least in my experience)
Dang, really!? This is my first rodeo with doing something like this. You would think the AI models are good enough at this point??
