Dear OpenAI Team,
I would like to share some feedback regarding the Business workspace experience.
I recently subscribed to the ChatGPT Business plan in order to temporarily use advanced research features. However, after creating the workspace, I discovered that my account was converted into a workspace-only environment, and my original personal environment was no longer accessible.
As a single user who only needed Business features temporarily, I found this transition quite difficult to manage. Once conversations were created in the workspace, it became impossible to move them back to a Personal environment. Additionally, cancelling the workspace risks losing access to important conversation history.
I would like to suggest a few improvements that could greatly improve the user experience:

Allow users to restore or re-enable a Personal workspace under the same account.

Provide a migration tool from Business workspace to Personal for single-user workspaces.

Offer an export tool for entire chat history to help users preserve their data.

Allow users to convert a single-user Business workspace back to Personal mode when the subscription ends.
Many users may subscribe to Business temporarily for specific features, and the current model makes it difficult to return to normal usage without risking data loss.
