It’s been more than a week now; I have not received any reply to my last email.
My 5.5 Pro Extended is still failing and replying through 5.3 Mini.

Same issue. Have opened a support ticket. They gave boilerplate. But said: reach out if it continues to happen on brand new threads/chats, which it is/does — so an active support thread.
10+ days and still waiting for a reply from OpenAI. This is pathetic.

Just checked — this routing issue doesn’t appear in iOS or macOS, only on web. Also doesn’t seem to discriminate on IP address. I think it’s a Trust/model-restriction bug.
Workaround thus: iOS + macOS native apps for now.
Update: I spoke to soon. 
Not True. I used iPad to have a try, not useful.
sAme problem for me, but on GPT go, for 24 hours.

For me, even the app show mini. It’s worst.
same issue here. and no abnormal usage on my part. except that i went to a cafe. not sure if that was it.

TL;DR: Clear Site Data + VPN Off ⇢ Web Works again
I have some more updates.
iOS is stable for me [working OK]. macOS was not. It showed Pro was used when it actually wasn’t (macOS app bug).
On web, I ran a test and instantly managed to unlock Pro:—
Dev Tools ⇢ Application ⇢ Local Storage ⇢ Clear Site Data (logs you out, but also purges browser-saved preferences) [Good]
Disabled VPN
5.6 is available for me today; but the same move also fixed 5.5 Pro Extended, which was previously bricked and unusable in the same browser.
Hope this helps others.
These two moves at the same time seemed to allow me to regain instant access to the Pro model, proved with “Pro thinking” and 15-minute replies once again.
