Also, it’s not only a question of ease of use, it’s a question of data retention. Eventually (undefined period) ChatGPT will ‘prune’ your historic chats. I just freaked out thinking that one of my crucial old chats relating to a project of mine had been deleted, but it turns out that you can access more historic chats on desktop than within the app. Phew! Still, would be a hell of a lot easier if you could just pin the chats you wish to return to, distinguishing between quick throwaway conversations and long-form conversations
