Optional text response Formatting

The ChatGPT app background is usually one of two colors, either black or white. That alone makes it easy to keep the text readable.

But what if it went further? If there were a way to customize the color of certain words or parts of a response, it could open up a whole new layer of meaning and expression.

Say I’m telling a story and I want every mention of a vampire to show up in red. Or I want any reference to water to appear in blue. Or maybe I just want to give my chats a nostalgic feel with green text on a black background, like an old terminal from the 90s.

Adding something like this wouldn’t just make things more fun. It could help users organize or highlight parts of the text more clearly, especially as conversations get longer or more complex. It’s a simple idea that could make a big impact on how we read and interact with generated content.
