OpenAI TTS and Adobe Premiere

I am having the worst time trying to bring OpenAI TTS .wav files into Adobe Premiere. ChatGPT is telling me it is likely a “headers” problem. Gemini is saying the same thing. It is also suggesting I export from OpenAI TTS to .mp3.

Anyone having the same issues or have any insight?

Welcome, @JJ_Spelman, to the community.

I’ve not heard of any problems. Maybe try opening and saving in Audacity or similar to fix any malformed headers if that’s the case?

Is Premiere the only app not recognizing them?

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I was originally working in Adobe Express and the files worked as expected. But I am switching to Premiere for a number of reasons and they are not working.

As another possible solution I had taken them into Media Encoder to try and convert them from 24hz to 44hz but that didn’t work either. Perhaps I will give Audacity a shot.

Just seems cumbersome that I have to do anything else at all.

OPening and saving in Audacity seems to have done the trick. Not sure why, but oh well, thanks!

Yeah, weird. Might be a header problem as the bots suggested?

I’d send something to help.openai.com if you get a chance.
