Why is the fine-tuning failing continuously and encountering an internal server error? Why is this happening?
This is happening because:
OpenAI let it, or
OpenAI caused it.
I am getting the same thing I’m fine-tuning gpt-4.1-mini. When I started getting this on new fine-tuning jobs I went back and tried to re-run a job that succeeded two days ago. It also failed, so this is very reproducible. Let me know if I can do anything to help trouble-shoot. I also adjusted the budget on my account, but these are pretty small jobs (usually finish in under 15 minutes), and increasing the budget limits had no effect.
