Only update memory when explicitly asked to do so

When using ChatGPT directly via prompts/chatting, instead of automatically updating memory, it’d be much better if there were an option to update memory with the last response, instead of it saying “Memory updated” next to the response that was used to update the memory, there could be an option to update memory with the response

or

ChatGPT could ask if the user would like to update memory with the previous response/context.

Instead of just doing it automatically requiring the user to then manually go in and delete the update.

Yes, I had to turn it off since it was so buggy. Even if the only memory is not to store memory without asking for approval it will not work. So I gave up after the 15th trying to get it to behave.
