Offline Version of ChatGPT

I love using ChatGPT and find it extremely helpful. I would like to request a fully offline version of ChatGPT that can run on PCs or mobile devices. Having an offline version would:

  1. Allow users with limited or unreliable internet to access AI capabilities.

  2. Provide faster response times and improved privacy.

  3. Help OpenAI stay competitive with other offline LLMs in the AI space.

I believe this feature would greatly benefit many users and expand ChatGPT’s reach globally.

Hey @Maratas_jeff. Yeah, I can see how that would be genuinely helpful.

Thanks for sharing this. A few others have raised similar ideas, and it’s helpful to see where this would make a real difference. I don’t have a timeline to share, but feedback like this is useful signal for where things could improve. I’ll pass this along internally
