I’m working on a long-term creative project in ChatGPT (worldbuilding, storytelling, and lore design), and I need the ability for ChatGPT to access past chats within the same Project folder.
Right now, even if I’ve added chats to a Project, ChatGPT can’t reference them unless I manually copy content over or it was saved in memory. This creates a bottleneck for continuity, especially when the project spans dozens of sessions.
I’m requesting a toggleable feature that would let me choose which chats or sessions ChatGPT can access as part of a Project. This would:
Preserve narrative continuity
Avoid repeated explanations or rework
Make the Project feature far more powerful and useful
Please consider adding this to the roadmap. Many creative users would benefit from it.
