Previously you could set a Monthly Budget Limit for the API, which we had done. Whilst looking at something else today I noticed that this option has now been changed to an Alert, rather than a Hard Cut Off.
This is worrying on 2 counts:

One MUST be able to shut down an organization, not just in monthly billings against a potential $200k max, but also against intrusions that are capable of hundreds of dollars before an email can be read in waking hours, which can come from organization members outside the controls of projects or account keys.
Projects still has a limit possible, capped at what is set as “higher threshold alert”, which needs to be manually enabled.
Much better and more responsive would be “my daily limits”.
