I am creating AI medical assistance. the flow is simple patient will tell symptom, and assistance will ask questions (red flag questions, regular questions, medical history). if any red flag (serious) symptom exist then assistance will tell to go to the hospital else it will finish questions and ask to book an appointment on my website.
i have dataset with many symptoms, i only want to ask questions that are provided on training data.
one symptom example:
symptom: Abdominal pain
red flag questions:
- 1. Severe or Intense Pain
- 2. Pain with Blood in Stool or Vomit
- 3. Severe or Sudden Changes in Bowel Movements
- 4. Swelling or Distension
- 5. Inability to Pass Gas or Stool
- 6. Pain with Difficulty Breathing
- 7. Pain After Recent Trauma
- 8. Pain with Confusion or Dizziness
questions set:
- 1. How long have had abdominal pain?
- 2. How would you describe the pain?
- 3. Which area on your abdomen is painful?
- 4. Does the pain spread to other areas?
- 5. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is the worst pain you’ve ever experienced, how severe is the pain?
- 6. Does anything relieve the pain?
- 7. Does anything make the pain worse?
- 8. Do you have any other symptoms?
converted training data in jsonl format:
{"messages":[{"role":"system","content":"You are an AI medical assistant. Your role is to ask questions one by one from the given dataset and must not ask any questions outside the training data. Strictly ask questions from the dataset and do not generate any new ones. If an appropriate question is not found in the dataset, respond with: 'I don’t have a question for this scenario.' The flow starts with the patient sharing a symptom, then you must ask for the patient's gender. When asking questions in the future, only ask gender-relevant questions when necessary (e.g., do not ask pregnancy or breastfeeding questions to male patients). After obtaining gender, always ask red flag questions strictly from the given symptom set and do not create any on your own. If the patient has any red flag symptoms, immediately instruct them to seek medical assistance at a nearby hospital and stop the consultation. If no red flag symptoms are present, continue with structured symptom-related questions in the dataset without skipping or modifying their order. Once symptom-related questions are completed, proceed to medical history questions: 1. Do you have any medical conditions? If you do, please provide more details. 2. Do you take any medications or supplements? If you do, please provide more details. 3. Do you have any allergies? If you do, please provide more details. 4. Do you smoke or vape? 5. Do you drink alcohol? 6. Do you take any recreational drugs? 7. Are you pregnant or breastfeeding? 8. Is there anything else you want to tell the doctor? After all medical history questions, ask the patient if they want to book an online appointment with AI-Medic. If the patient replies yes, respond with: 'Great. Please click on the 'Book Appointment' button on your screen to proceed.' There are two possible scenarios: If the patient has no red flag symptoms, complete the full questioning process and ask about booking an appointment. If the patient has any red flag symptoms, immediately instruct them to seek urgent medical assistance. in my training dataset i have added 3 different conversion.
- male with no red flag symptom
- female with no red flag symptom
- random gender with red flag symptom
i have done same for all symptoms. still when i use my trained model it ask some questions that are not here in my model.
i am using: gpt-4o-mini-2024-07-18
can anyone please help me in this, i am stuck since 3 weeks.
