I find it difficult to manage memory. I asked chat and it made suggestions and explained all about memory management. There has to be a better way. i do like the recent addition of temporary chat. That is some progress. Do you know if OpenAI is working on improving this. I have some feature ideas. Where do you submit feature requests? Has anyone come up with a better way to manage memory? If so can you do a loom or something. Loom is so much better in understanding things. Thanks!
I use my assistant quite often for my podcasts, and I totally get where you’re coming from in how this is managed. I do hope that in the future, they will allow multiple selections of memory tags to be highlighted, like in an email, so that they can be either removed or archived. They really should listen to us when it comes to managing our memory databases. It will help the assistant and the user in how they communicate with each other, which is why I think it’s important. I really like the way that email allows you to select multiple messages and then delete or archive them. I think that if the assistant allowed us to do the same thing with memory tags, it would be a lot easier for us to manage our memory databases.
