Yeah I know um everybody’s got to chime in and set send posts about this but it is obvious that when you go to the chat GPT box there should be a microphone just like on Google.com where you click it and you could enter in text that they have us clicking this button where you’re sitting there and having a conversation or something but if you’re busy you just want to click a microphone button like on Google and enter your text you know this is a product that we’re making so we’re trying to help make open AI better so they’re successful so if a competitor comes along they’re going to be ready and you know just realize they have this inefficient live button there and you know I don’t even get it but you know I have to send messages in this thread here but you can help out by constantly sending posts about this saying like what are you guys even thinking it should be optimized like Google so you could quickly enter in voice text and if you’re on a buntu or a Mac or something you know or new to a bunch of or Mac you know it’s gonna be way easier if you know all across the board in any operating system there’s a microphone to easily access this i’ve been on Linux and it’s hard to get voice typing set up there and you can’t even really use this on Linux until you you know learn and this is a tool that will help you learn Linux chat GPT as so you know that kinda makes it even harder cause you can’t really use chat GPT to learn Linux to get voice typing set up without a good microphone i’m trying to help this company it’s really awesome but this is just like you know it’s only real failing trying to help an open AI that is.
So you’re deciding for us you should kind of let us decide um I just told the assistant save this into memory never ever open up anything in canvas and it didn’t do it it would be so awesome if it did that is such a hindrance to your workflow some people really don’t like canvas… This is the you know best website in the world so I’m just trying to give you every piece of information I know to make it better
About the last comment especially for programmers you could open up a message box and say what features would you be interested in and then you know if it’s a feature that might change the way things are currently working and then you know we could vote or something like that or if that’s going to be a hindrance to your workflow then you should very much consider making every new functionality you add that would change anything at all for programmers as a property you could check so if you add it and it’s a hindrance they could immediately turn it off and basically I’m saying all this you’re very initial system that you added with G P T 40 I’ve pretty much mastered and get perfect results out of it I don’t need anything else…
Okay you need a way to send like you know vital information you know how you could say Hey GPT save this into memory and it will … You should also uh give it the ability to where you could say Hey GPT send need to know information to open AI and then you know number one you’ll have AI in there that will you know parse it for you know spam or hateful comment so you’re going to get pretty good stuff and number two that way for instance like the last two days right i’ve been using VNC viewer to work with Mac instance I purchased off of a scale way i’m upgrading a blender add on to work on a Mac and it turns out that that’s really slow way to work with a Mac instance but I just realized that because I do computer repair that I could just use teamviewer and you know now the interface is all super poppy and everything so what you want to do is you want to allow people to send need to know information right to you so I could um say Hey GPT this is need to know information for open AI and then I tell you this information and then you just locked that in to GPT’s performance so next time somebody is downloading like you know or or using a Mac instance from the Mac and cloud or Mac Stadium or scale way websites you know and and they’re and then make it so that GPT if they ask you know how to connect to this instance that GPT will always recommend team viewer because it’s you know a really awesome interface and fast…no lags…if you allow things like this you could kind of improve the world mind kind of surrounding your functionality so people can send you need to know information you improve it then as a collective society using your service we all get smarter…
genius…Give us two simple rest API endpoints to chat GPT you don’t have to expose it all but as a result you could give us the ability to allow chat GPT to access any interpreter a blender python interpreter in my case which it doesn’t have default and I’m sure other people are missing that…
Now you don’t have to provide like full API access to chat GPT at all but maybe you can add like a rest API endpoint or something that we could link up to you can essentially put it in a sandbox but basically this rest API endpoint would be an input for error messages from your console so you would set up whatever necessary thing on your end maybe just to dump all the console output when you Run code that chat GPT gave you in your local interpreter… Into a variable and then send it directly to chat GPT every time you run code so you could have a local conditional or something that you set to true so it’s only sent then but when it is set to true every time you run code the contents would be sent through the rest api endpoint directly basically into the chat GPT text box and enter would be pressed what would also be really cool is since you know in my instance a chat GPT doesn’t have a blender python interpreter built in what would be good if you also provided a rest API endpoint that you could set up and link to on your normal system that would give chat GPT the ability to press the run button on your interpreter and run the code that’s all it would be is 2 very simple rest API endpoints but basically you could give Chad GPT the ability to run code in any interpreter because in my instance of course I program in blender python code and there’s no inbuilt blender python interpreter, number one it would be cool if you added one but you know with two very simple rest api linkages keeping in mind that in blender python we can supply a button press for our interpreter as code so that rest api point can at least be satisfied here I don’t know about Visual Studio if that’s possible but I’m sure it is with their command line…
OK see you got AA python interpreter in canvas mode which is great but that really does me no good because I always work in blender python seeing as how AI is advancing let’s say somebody comes out with some better you want to have the top product right so what I would do is I would calculate all those instances where the people using my product aren’t going to be happy with just a python interpreter see in my instance I need you know a full instance of blender packed in there that we could test blender Python code when I click that run button so to stay you know at the top of the pile you got to throw full instance and blender in there so code could be tested in there and every other single instance where a person isn’t happy with that in fact you know if you don’t even you know one even have to do any work you can put A message box that comes up that says hey are you satisfied with the interpreter that I’m having or that we have in there and if not you know tell us what interpreter you need … You know if you implement this kind of stuff this will make your product stronger so if somebody comes out with somebody that is edging you well you’ll have this too… Keeping in mind that it would be great if the interpreter was used in the regular chat mode not canvas mode as well because I’ve said it a few other posts that I would rather have it to never be automatically directed to canvas mode I don’t think it’s efficiently laid out as far as in relationship to standard chat mode… you guys may think it’s good or what the world needs but you should give us options to choose you should very consistently send out surveys because the whole world is using your product to find out if people are satisfied with every aspect… Other than that this is top NOTCH technology and I couldn’t be happier
OK sing us how chat GPT is just like your own personal assistant like your own employee working for you you gotta make the history work the same like just like if you’re talking to an employees so it’s really easy to do you know you just have to you can give it a keyword like remember like when you say the word remember or if you’re saying some like remember a couple days ago when you so and so or something it will just you’ll do an embedded vector search of all history that the person has ever ever output which you know except for the files maybe that might get kind of clunky but the actual text that they voice typed in you’ll do a search and find that relevant section and then you know put it in its own you know find all relevant sections and put it in its own file and then give that to the assistant like you could temporarily cache A the main history of the entire session because you know if you’re in a session for a while it doesn’t need all that data all the time and then you know it could analyze the memory of you know what it’s the data that it just got you know that you pulled from the entire history and then it could you know remember and it could have the context to you know appreciate what you’re saying and understand and then it could you know pull just what it needs out of that memory that you gave it in order to have the proper context delete everything and re add the cache of the current chat that you’re in
