Let gpt-3.5-turbo use different synonyms when producing the contents

Hi,

When using gpt-3.5-turbo to generate content, it will often use the same word repeatedly, instead of using different synonyms. For example, it will use “beautiful” for many times, instead of using synonyms such as “gorgeous”,“studding” etc.

Thus the model gives the reader a sense that it has a very limited vocabulary or does not realize that he has used the same words for many times.

How to prevent this?

Hi - you should consider adjusting the frequency penalty to a slightly higher (positive) value. This should reduce the likelihood of the same words re-appearing.
