Laziness/Ignoring Instructions

Hey, has anyone found a consistent way to combat the assistants API (GPT-1025) from getting lazy?

I’m asking it to produce documents and it does well for 2/3 page documents but it just gets so lazy after that. Additionally, I am asking it to copy and paste a few paragraphs and it just outright refuses to do it.

I’ve tried inputting the additional paragraphs in the prompt and also attached a file with them in and neither seem to produce consistent results. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

@darcschnider just posted here that you might need to break down the output to smaller sections. Best idea I’ve seen so far.
