since the update to the ChatGPT app UI on Android, LaTeX has not been rendering correctly and instead just displays the raw LaTeX code. e.g. \mathbf{x}

I have been having this same issue for quite some time now, but I have just noticed that inline rendering does not work while block rendering does. Perhaps you could ask for every formula to be block rendered at the beginning of the prompt as a temporary solution?

Me as well. LaTex was rendering fine until earlier this morning.
